Streaming music and photos
Available as part of the Home Networking Package, TiVo® Desktop enables streaming photos and music straight from your PC or Mac to your TiVo® media device. You can listen to your favourite tunes over the best sound system in the house by simply selecting which music folders you want published to your TiVo media device. Go to Music, Photos, & Showcases on your TiVo media device and scroll to Music or Photos. Use the Play, RW, FF, Skip, and numerical buttons to navigate and play your music and photo files through your TiVo.
Streaming of music and photos requires absolutely none of your TiVo media device's memory as it is reading the information straight from your PC or Mac.
Please note: any digital rights management protected content, such as AAC files or music purchased on iTunes, will not play on your TiVo media device. Your TiVo is limited to streaming MP3 files and M3U playlists only.
